Acceptance
By accessing or using the KŌOPE website, waitlist, Founders program, or app, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction to access alcohol-related content within KŌOPE. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
Waitlist and Founders Program
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a launch date, invitation, product availability, or pricing. Founders applications are reviewed at KŌOPE’s discretion. References to limited places, preferred pricing, benefits, or early access are subject to availability and final program details communicated before acceptance or purchase.
Acceptable Use
You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, scrape personal information, submit false or unlawful content, or use automated systems to abuse forms or availability.
User-Generated Content
KŌOPE allows you to create and store content such as bottle scans and inventory data. You retain ownership of your content. By submitting content, you grant KŌOPE a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the service.
Subscriptions and Billing
Certain features require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing periods, and renewal terms are displayed before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable app store policies (Apple App Store or Google Play). To cancel, manage your subscription through your device’s app store settings.
Intellectual Property
All KŌOPE branding, content, software, graphics, and educational materials are the property of KŌOPE or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
Responsible Consumption
KŌOPE promotes responsible enjoyment. Do not drink and drive. You are responsible for complying with local alcohol laws and for your consumption decisions. Content is general information, not medical, legal, safety, or professional advice.
Third-Party Services and Links
The service may link to or rely on third-party platforms, app stores, payment providers, or websites. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services, and KŌOPE is not responsible for third-party content or availability.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
KŌOPE is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or address security risks. You may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of KŌOPE after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
